First, we listen to what you are reporting is wrong with the car or what you would like done.

Second, we test drive every car before working on it.

Why?
First, if you are having a problem, to try to experience what you are reporting. Second, if you are in for routine service, we will sometimes feel, hear or see something that you might not be aware of (loose steering, noises, brakes that pull, engine misfire, etc). This is for your safety. You would be amazed how easy it is for people to grow accustomed to a noise, loose steering or soft brake pedal over the course of time, and not realize there is a problem until it is too late.

Third, we do not work flat rate.

Dealership technicians and most chain stores pay their technicians a set amount to accomplish a job. Frequently, it is an amount for less time than a job actually requires. This leads to cut corners, incomplete repairs, and certainly incomplete diagnostics. We know. We have seen the results. You see, dealership techs are paid only a very minimal amount to perform diagnostics (maybe 1/2 hour). Today's cars are very complex. Doing proper diagnostics and repairs takes time.

Fourth, we test drive every car after working on it.

Sometimes we do extensive test drives. Sometimes, with the customer's permission, we keep cars overnight or for several days. We want to make sure the car is right before returning it to you.

Fifth, we have been in business since 1958.

Seventh, we are an ASE Blue Seal Shop.

We employ three ASE certified technicians. Two are ASE Master technicians. That qualifies us as an ASE Blue Seal shop, one of only two in York as of November, 2005!

Eighth, we have dealer and factory level computer scan tools so we can best repair any problem with your vehicle.

In no way will I claim to be a low-cost service provider.
Cars and trucks are extremely complicated today.
I hire the best people and I pay them an honest wage.
I make sure they have the best equipment and best training.
I let them take the time to do diagnostics and repairs correctly. They are not forced to rush through a job just to beat the clock. They are not forced to cut corners.
We do take the time to test drive both before and after repairs.
We provide our customers with loaner cars so they are minimally inconvenienced while we are working on their cars.
And, we try to provide our customers with the best estimates we can, and try to maintain the lines of communication.
