York, Lancaster and several other surrounding counties

·
What does this mean to you? When
your inspection comes due, you have the same three
months prior to your inspection expiration date, to
bring your vehicle to us. The age of your vehicle and
the amount of miles you drive determines what emission
test your vehicle receives. After verifying you have a
current registration and insurance coverage, we first
test your vehicle’s emission system.
·
If it passes, we are then permitted to
proceed with the safety inspection.
·
If your emission system fails, how much
you need to spend will depend on why it failed. But,
the state does require the emission system to be worked
on before we are allowed to perform the state
safety inspection.
